Two days ago the Republican chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp put out a new tax proposal.
Frankly, I skimmed through it, but didn’t pay much attention.
Even the Republican side of the house could not agree on it.
The Democrats and Republicans have been putting out tax proposals quite regularly in recent years. They are all dead on arrival. This one is too, so I’m not going to waste any time and effort on analyzing it.
Hopefully, in the near future, the politicians can agree on a framework to rewrite the tax code and free us from this labyrinth full of special interest perks and unfair taxation.
But that day is not close at hand, so save your precious time and don’t bother to read the new proposal.
