The children and Mom came in. She was still living in the old house in Fairfield County Connecticut. Mom was faltering and needed help. She had some money, but not a lot. We worked with the children and Mom to get the help she needed and keep her comfortable and safe. We worked out a plan to save as many of her assets as possible and still allow her to qualify for Medicaid.
